United Nordic was established in 1964 by a group of privately owned food wholesalers to conduct import of grocery products. Our purpose was - as it is today - to achieve optimal purchasing terms for our four owners through a Nordic collaboration.
The United Nordic partners today form one of the largest wholesale and retail organizations in the northern Europe, with an annual total sales of approximately EUR 9 billion. The four United Nordic owners - Dagrofa (Denmark), Axfood (Sweden), Tuko Logistics (Finland) and NorgesGruppen (Norway) each own 25 % of the company.
