The owners of United Nordic contract suppliers worldwide to produce a vast number of privately branded items. The suppliers are selected through a qualifying process involving quality assurance as well as safety aspects and human rights. Humans rights issues of suppliers are taken care of through the Codes of Conducts of our respective owners. Tuko Logistics is a member of BSCI and consequently has adopted the BSCI Code of Conduct. Norgesgruppen is a member of IEH and has a Code of Conduct in compliance with the IEH Code. Axfood has had a Code of Conduct since 2004. The role of United Nordic is to coordinate the activities involving compliance of suppliers. |
